The 2016 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is almost here, which means it’s time for the latest designs in the New Balance runDisney Collection! I was fortunate enough to get a sneak peak at the new collection and get a close up look at the Ariel Vazee Pace. These shoes are SO CUTE!!! Let’s check them out.
First, we need to give some attention to the all new packaging for the collection…I am VERY impressed! This is a box you will have trouble throwing away.
The outside is nice, but when you open the box, there is so much more to look at then just the amazing shoes!

The Vazee Pace is a neutral running shoe that provides lightweight support with it’s REVlite foam to keep you energized through every stride. It was even awarded “Best Debut” by Runners World Fall Shoe Guide and named “Best in Class Light Trainer/Racer” by Triathlete Magazine.
While the shoes will get you swiftly across the finish line, it’s the detailing that will really make you fall in love with these shoes. The colors perfectly match Ariel’s and the wave like texture gives it the perfect Under The Sea feel.
They are even signed by The Little Mermaid herself!
Oh and remember those clips? How cute are they on the shoes?!
I haven’t had a chance to take these out for a spin yet, but I tried them on and walked around a bit and they sure are comfy.
Back to the 2016 New Balance Guide to runDisney that was included in the box. This was a fun little addition that not only gives you more information on all of the new shoes that are being released this year, but also provides additional information about the races themselves. There is even a 52-week journal to track your training for your upcoming races…how cool is that?!
The Ariel Vazee Pace along with the new Dumbo Vazee Pace and the Red Carpet Mickey & Minnie 860v6s will be available starting tomorrow, January 6th at the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Health & Fitness Expo. To minimize waiting in line for shoes, New Balance has created a virtual queue to let you know when it’s your turn. If you are running in any of the races over Marathon Weekend, you can sign up at www.NBVirtualQueue.com using your bib number starting Wednesday, January 6th at 6:00 am EST. Once you sign up, you will be sent a time via text/email to arrive at the Expo to get your shoes.
All other guests can sign up Thursday, January 7th, Friday, January 8th and Saturday, January 9th starting at 6:00 am EST each day. Be sure to visit NBvirtualqueue.com to get all the details on reserving a pair and pick-up. These shoes are sure to be in high demand and will most likely sell out, so makes sure to set your alarms to reserve your space!
The Dumbo and Ariel Vazee Pace will be available for $124.95, while the Red Carpet Minnie and Mickey 860v6s will be available for $139.95. In addition, a kids Dumbo and Ariel 860v6 will be available for $79.95.
